Who we are

Literally speaking, we provide I.T. hardware, software, consultations and advice to a select group of customers.

Conceptually, we represent to the I.T. industry what Odysseus' home in Ithaca represented to him after 20 years at sea. Just as Odysseus encountered Sirens which enchanted sailors to their demise with sweet songs, so there are companies which do the same. He came across Cyclops, large but myopic. He spent time on the island of Circe only to realize he and his crew were being well-fed to provide a better meal. After these perilous experiences he traveled on until he saw Ithacan Shore, his home.

Our goal is to represent to the I.T. industry, especially those who have been on similar journeys, what Ithaca represented to Odysseus: a long-term home.

To achieve this, we form lasting relationships founded on mutual trust and reciprocity. We exist for I.T. people who appreciate what such a relationship can offer in time savings, prudent decision-making, ease of budgeting, and doing away with needless stress so our customers can focus on the important aspects of their jobs.

• Our account managers work only with fewer customers so they are readily available.
• In the event of damaged goods arriving we immediately send a replacement shipped overnight with no additional charge. For smaller orders (under $100, usually) we send the order for free.
• For customers on the shore, meaning they spend over $100,000 a year, we offer to return products at any time whatsoever, up to 5% of the revenue they have spent with us.
• We take time to choose products with production lines well into the future to allow for standardization and maintain the same price for as long as possible to allow for ease of budgeting and reduced stress.
• We respond to customers in the way they wish. We do not sacrifice the long-term for short-term rewards which means no excessive calling or pushiness, learning and respecting the policies and procedures of our customers because respect is fundamental in a business relationship.
